Close your eyes…

Think Minimalism,

The 90’s,

Beautiful radiant gradients,

…and take a look into the future of design for 2023 with us!

Anti-Branding

While this trend's name may sound a bit nonsensical, we are seeing more and more brands embrace the minimal, authentic and unpretentious look and feel and utilize a more eco-friendly look to their packaging and branding as a whole.

Featuring minimal or monochromatic colors, this trend is peeling back the “overly designed” look and focusing on simple black text in varying sizes on white backgrounds, others are using more handwritten typography to give their branding a more human feel.

Overall, if you are hopping on this trend, keep in mind that less is sometimes more.

Y2K Evolution

If you are a 90’s kid like I am…I’m sorry to tell you (or maybe not sorry) that the late 90’s and early 2000’s trends are creeping their way back into the mainstream.

We’ve seen it in clothing styles and now it’s making its way into design.

Get out your grunge band t-shirt and get ready to wear it again and maybe even incorporate it into your next design.

Bright colors, smileys, 3D shapes, and metallics are all the top looks for this trend.

Feel free to jump on the nostalgia train with this trend as we see this one evolving through the year and not slowing down.

Radiant Gradients

While gradients have been around the design world for a while, newly inspired radiant gradients are all the rage in 2023.
Bringing you “out of the box” and taking the perfect gradient look and feel to a new level…make it random, bring in multi color blends, bring in a bit of that Y2K grunge look and make it look like spray paint. The sky’s the limit with this trend.

Uniformity need not apply.

Trend Today, Gone Tomorrow

While new design trends pop up every year remember to always stay true to your brand. Incorporating new trends in minimal or less permanent environments such as in social media posts is a great way to keep up with the latest and greatest trends without lasting change as the years go by.
