Case Study: Goodz Boutique

Branding | Business Coaching | Website Build

About Goodz:

Owned and operated by Stella Gray, Goodz is an online artist hub that gives designers a platform to sell their products while also giving back to the community. Goodz donates a portion of their profits to the Pad Project which provides feminine care products to women who may not have access to them. When the Coronavirus pandemic hit the U.S., Stella started Tie Dye for Good in order to raise money for the brave front line workers at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City where the virus hit especially hard. She’s now decided to take a semester off from her time at Yale to pursue Goodz.

“There has been an excellent response to the website. Since launch, site visitors have increased to more than 3,000 and sales also saw an increase to 5,000. The team at eGuide Tech Allies communicates well and is extremely accommodating.”

Branding:

After looking at eCommerce sites and other branding within the area that Stella liked, we were able to refine the color scheme and font, as well as incorporate visual elements, like the squiggle text and paint strokes, to add in pops of color and texture. GOODZ has an editorial feel to it with a simple black and white website that brings playfulness and color in with the products they offer rather than in the branding concepts.

Website:

eGuide worked with Goodz on building a Shopify site to accommodate the broad spectrum of products and product variables that having an artist hub and eCommerce site entails. Using the brand board as well as images and content from artists, eGuide was able to build a simple yet effective site for Goodz to showcase all of the individual products while also highlighting on the mission behind the brand: Artisanal Goods that do Good.

Using a plugin on Shopify, CountUp, Goodz was able to showcase the number of feminine products donated to the Pad Project from the combined sales on the site as a whole. Take a look at the Goodz site and get yourself a early holiday present that also does good.
